Stanley is a happy-go-lucky boy that is friendly with everyone. He loves attention and enjoys hanging out at home with his people. He would be a fine companion for children of any age. He is both house and crate trained and hasn’t a mean bone in his body. He is approximately 5 years old and weighs just 28 lbs.

Stanley is a sweet, gentle, devoted, peaceful and loving little dog. He would fit into family life very well. He is always friendly, mild tempered and quiet in the home. Stanley is very affectionate with people and friendly with children of all ages. He does best with positive reinforcement and is food motivated which makes him easy to train. Stanley is obedient but when he picks up a smell his attention is totally distracted and so he should never be let off leash in an open area as he would be tempted to follow his nose.

Stanley would be fine without a yard as long as he was given lots of opportunity to run and play to keep him trim and healthy. He is fairly inactive in the home but enjoys running around the yard for hours at a time. He would love to have a daily walk. Stanley will fret if he is left home alone for long hours during the day as he is used to being with other dogs, and so he would be best in a family with another dog or with a stay-at-home mom. He is fine with cats.

Stanley is currently being fostered in a home with another dog where he is having lots of opportunity to play, learning good manners, and enjoying trips about town making new friends.  He is looking forward to finding a loving home of his own.
