Magdelena Snetsinger might be a little girl but she is a big hero with the dogs in rescue.
After being adopted by the Snetsinger family, a little hound named Joey found not only a new family but also a best friend named Magdelena. This year Magdelena showed not only her love for Joey, but also that she cared about all the dogs that were still waiting to find their new families.

Magdelena was having a birthday party but unlike most kids her age, she decided to forgo presents for herself and asked all of her guests to bring dog related items to donate to Ugly Mutts. Her idea was met warmly by her guests who had a great time and enjoyed a game of “give the dog a bone” rather than “pin the tail on the donkey”.

Pictured is Lynn Harrison, Promotions Coordinator for Ugly Mutts, along with her husband Rob as they were presented with all of the gifts as well as a lovely card signed by all the birthday guests, as well as the “give a dog a bone” game.
Thank you Magdelena for being such a caring person. Not only did your donations make things a little more special for the dogs in foster care but you gave all of us here at Ugly Mutts a big dose of the “warm and fuzzies”.
Thank you also to all of Magdelena’s guests –
