A poem by Christine, one of our foster mom’s:
Look at all these doggies looking for a home
Unfortunately right now, they really feel alone
Why won’t someone love them, take them to their place
Can’t you just imagine all the kisses to your face?
These doggies, they don’t eat too much, they don’t even eat too long
They’ll even dance real pretty or give you an off-key song
They just want somewhere safe to lay, to relax and unwind
They just want someone with which to play and someone who is kind
Oh won’t you please take care of one of these lovely furry friends
Don’t let them be all alone and closer to their ends
Ugly Mutts has saved so many, too many to imagine
They’re out of danger of losing their lives and are now in doggie haven
Won’t you take a look at some doggies and see which one you love
I’m sure you’ll find your perfect fit, a fit even better than a glove
