Luna is a beautiful girl who is intelligent and ready to take on the world.  This is not a dog for a first time dog owner because she would end up running circles around you.  She is a mid sized dog weighing just 35 lbs and is a young adult.  She would do well in an active  family with older children who would really like to take her out and run her through her paces.  A beautiful, loyal and loving companion.

With her pretty face Luna is a real charmer but she is definitely nobody’s fool and will need an experienced dog owner to help bring out her true potential.  She is an active dog that would be excellent for someone that likes to hike, jog, run or otherwise get out in the fresh air and play hard.

A very loyal companion, this girl will follow you to the end of the world to please you but if you don’t have enough time to spend with her she could get very depressed.  She would be excellent in a home with a large property or a nice sized back yard as she loves being outside. She is a young girl and is still very playful.  She would love a good game of fetch or frisbee.

She would also love to spend time cuddling and is a very affectionate dog with everyone but she seems to be choosy about which other dogs she likes and would probably not be her best with another female dog or in a home with a cat.

If you are looking for an active older pup that is beautiful inside and out, look no further friends because Finnegan is your guy!  This is a beautiful dog who looks like a pure Setter other than his size which is much smaller.  He will only be about 50 – 60 lbs when he fills out.  Finnegan is good with everyone and everything and as long as you have time to show this boy the ropes, you will have a wonderful pet and companion.

Finnegan is approximately 8 – 10 months old and is truly a lovely dog.  He loves to be outside and as you can see from one of the pictures, he can really make his ears flap in the wind.  He is a docile pup that trusts everyone and would be good in a family with children that would enjoy playing with him.

He will definitely need someone that is willing to take him to obedience classes to teach him how to be a capable companion.  With his beautiful red hair and friendly personality he will be a definite hit at the dog park and wherever he goes about town.

Friendly, loyal, playful and affectionate are what you get in this boy.  He is really a diamond in the rough waiting for someone to really make him shine!

Bailey is a very handsome little dog that is currently being fostered in a home with multiple dogs and cats and kids.  Although he can be afraid of strangers, once he knows you he is just a little cuddle bug.  He would make an excellent adult’s companion and is clean and quiet in the home, unlike some Chihuahua’s.  He is not a dog that would do well around little children because of his size and their fast movements and loud activity levels.  He be great for apartment living as he is quiet enough to not bother neighbours, and is very clean being able to be left for a normal working day without any issues.

Bailey is 5.5 years old and weighs just 5 – 6 lbs.  He came from a loving home where he was well cared for but with jobs, one toddler at home and another child on the way, Bailey was just not getting the attention he had been used too.

Bailey is a very obedient and well behaved little dog.  He loves to go for walks and is very good on leash.  He has no idea that he is just a tiny dog and does not have any of the small dog syndrome issues associated with these small dogs.

He behaves well with his foster dog siblings and became best friends with the cat (who was the only one his size in the home).  He loved the teenage daughter in the home and is used to being around small children (although we would not place him with any child under the age of 10).

Bailey is really an affectionate, clean, quiet and well behaved little dog and is a devoted, and loyal pet.  He would be best in an adult only home or with older respectful children.

ZigZag is a sweet little girl.  She is a solid little dog but weighs only 12 lbs.  She is friendly with everyone.  She is a little timid when you first meet her but that seems to be working itself out as she acclimates herself into her foster home.  She is a very loving little dog but also likes to get out for a nice walk about town.

When you look at ZigZag you can almost see the innocent little soul that lies beneath the big brown eyes.  She looks like she would never purposely do a thing wrong and is always trying her best to do whatever you want of her.  She is quiet in the home, loving and affectionate with her people.  She could really do with some confidence building but she can at times be very independent and although she is not an alpha dog she can stand up for herself when she needs too.

She is still a young dog and would benefit from further obedience training but overall she is well behaved and not a problem in the home.  She would be a good choice for respectful children that would enjoy playing a game of ball or fetch in the yard but would be equally happy as a single’s companion in a condo as long as she got out each day for a nice walk.  She is fine with other dogs and cats and gets along well with other pets in the home.

Maddie is an exceptional pet. She is very relaxed and is the right combination of loving, confident and dependant. She is extremely outgoing and approachs strangers and other dogs in an easy, friendly manner. Maddie would be an excellent choice for a first time dog owner.

Maddie could be lying on the couch sleeping and you say the word walk and she is wide awake and bouncing around like a puppy.  She is a very friendly and responsive dog who will bond easily with her new family.  She easily accepts other people and animals into her pack.  She definitely gives equal affection to everyone.

Maddie likes other dogs and is indifferent to cats. She does not really seem to know how to play with toys but might just need some time for that.  She is polite and has manners. Does not beg for food or treats.  She is quite cuddly and affectionate. Her tail is always wagging.

Easy to walk.

A really really nice dog anyone who adopts her will be very lucky. I cannot say enough nice things about her and cannot find any problems areas at all.

Romeo’s breeding has given him the handsome coat of gold and the friendly, affectionate personality of the Golden Retreiver but at the same time his Chow background has turned him into a fluff ball.  This is a very sweet dog that is super affectionate and friendly with everyone.  He is a real lover and would do well in any family situation.  He is a mid sized dog weighing just under 50 lbs and is approximately 8 – 10 months old.

Romeo is a very handsome boy and is just a big teddy bear come to life.  He would make an exceptional family companion and would be a very loving and devoted pet.  Very playful and a little silly this boy is just a charmer.

Romeo would do best in a home where he could spend time outside but he really likes to be with people.  Much like a Chow Chow he is very devoted to his family but unlike a Chow he is not overly protective and instead he easily makes friends with everyone.  He loves playing with other dogs and would enjoy trips to the dog park and a brisk daily walk to check out the neighbourhood.

As you can see in his picture he appears wet as he just loved being out in the snow and romping around with the other foster dogs.

Romeo responds very well to praise and is responsive and eager to please.  All he needs is someone to help him learn the ropes and allow him to grow into a respected an capable companion.

Daisy is a mid sized girl that is young, playful and ready to find her new family.  She is just under 40 lbs and is approximately 10  months old.  She is a sucky girl that loves attention and is very willing and eager to please.  She responds well to attention and positive reinforcement and would do well with even first time dog owners.

Daisy is an intelligent and friendly girl that gives back tenfold.  She loves people and laps up any attention she can get.  Being just a mid-sized dog she is great for a small home or even an apartment as long as she was able to get enough exercise.  She would love a daily walk and opportunities to hang out with her family.

Daisy is a young dog that will need some further training in regard to house manners and such but overall she is a very well behaved pup.  She is confident and has no issues around people or other pets.  She would do well with obedience classes and would make a great companion.

This is a sweet girl that would do well in any environment.

We can’t say enough about this great boy.  He a is gorgeous, gentle giant of a dog with a calm, friendly personality.  A beautiful boy inside and out.  We are hoping to get some better pictures of this boy but if you are looking for a companion in a large dog, you can’t get a more loving, playful and affectionate boy than Bub.  He is a young adult dog, healthy and waiting to meet his new family.

Bub has both the regal bearing of the Doberman, mixed with the friendly, calm and gentle nature of the Rottweiler.  (I have never yet met a Rottweiler mix that I haven’t found to be a wonderful pet)

Bub is a little thicker through the body but is still a slim dog.  He is so easy going by nature and just takes everything in his stride.  He is truly confident and well socialized.  He is fine with other dogs and people of all ages.  He would do best in a home where he had room to run and play and would love going for walks and playing with dog friends at the dog park.  He is a very loyal boy, obedient and eager to please.
