Get Involved and Help Save A Dog’s Life
With the help of individual dog lovers, good-will sponsors and dedicated volunteers who give of their time and their talents Ugly Mutts Dog Rescue has provided for and rehomes approximately 250 pets each year. Working together as a community of dog caregivers we strive to give each of these pets the “Happy Tails” ending they so rightly deserve.
Sadly however, the number of dogs in need of our care continues to grow and so in turn does our need for caring individuals like yourself. Whether you are interested in becoming a dog foster parent, can make a donation of gently used items or food, are willing to help transport dogs or, you possibly have a suggestion that might be of value to aid in rescuing dogs, please let us know. As part of our dog loving community, whatever you give of yourself will ultimately result in aiding to save dog lives.

~ Donate Items~
We are always in need of dog related items such as crates, medical supplies, food and collars and leashes. There are however other items that you wouldn’t normally think of such as baby gates – please check out our Wish list to see if you might have something you know longer need that could be of value to a homeless dog.
~ Foster A Dog ~
Ugly Mutts Dog Rescue is not a shelter and we have no main location. All of the pets in our care are kept in private, pet-friendly, loving foster homes throughout Southern Ontario. To find out if fostering is something that you would enjoy, please click on the above link.
~ Volunteer ~
As with any Rescue there is always so much to do and so little time. If you have a driver’s licence, enjoy working with dogs, or would like to share other talents to help save dog lives, we would love to hear from you. We are currently looking to add to our Rescue and Adoption Team. Anyone with rescue or shelter experience, dog training or behavioural experience would be greatly welcomed.
~ Sponsor ~
Ugly Mutts accepts and appreciates persons or other organizations that help sponsor the pets in our care and our Rescue as a whole.
